“The mountains don’t forget the names we give them, they hold our footprints deep in clay and stone. A man can earn his bread in any county, but he can’t teach his heart to call it home.”- lyrics from “Mile Marker Nine”
How many times I’m awed by the mountains, by its echoing of my calling. I always feel the mountain can hear, can sense, our season of life.
At the end of our hike, there is a Camel, I named it in spring time for its shape. Now we’re back, Camel is still waiting for me.
