Mustangs

I’m not a horse person, but this little herd of horses stopped me, to admire them. They are different from the regular horses you see on the ranches, their muscles, their wildness really wake up something inside you. That energy, their free spirit awes you with the power of life, it cannot be tamed, free like the wind. When they start to run, I can see the vast prairies of old, where they free roamed, grazing and running in the old West.

I noticed the colt is cuddling with the mother, reluctant to leave. A gray mustang is rearing up on his hind legs, against the sky, his gorgeous mane flying in the wind, his strong legs springing from the ground with visible muscles. That moment, something ancient and sacred is calling.
