Every Moment Counts

Recuperating can be daunting, scary, and seemingly endless.

Today I read an article; every moment in life serves its purpose, which should include my recuperation. Because I am right where I should be. That being said, I suddenly get a new perspective of this time: it’s slow time, slow enough that I can learn to use my body in a new way; approach my normal movements from a different angle. In slow motion, I learned to really use breathing to guide my body and movement, even when it seems like no movement, or very subtle movement. Now I understand what it is like to move like you mean it, not a cliché. This technique I never would have gotten when I was fast and free.

Life lies between breath, in between each inhale and exhale, the miracle of life sparkles. That itself is worth our total attention, tuning in is the one and only key to unlock the world outside this body.

Every moment in life has a meaning, as trivious as one breath, as eternal as time.
