古老的石头会说话：从前Yokuts印第安人在这里安静地编筐捕鱼，代代相传；1850’s 淘金的人带来了商机，也带来了城市，有了名字：Millerton，成为第一个县法庭所在地。San Juaquin的河水不断泛滥，直到1867年的圣诞夜洪水冲醒了人们的黄金梦，也冲走了Fresno 县的第一个法庭；1872年，南太平洋铁路修到了Fresno，商机随着火车走， 滚滚火车的轰鸣彻底带走了Millerton的商机和原住民。1944年，Friant大坝完工，曾经的Millerton城市沉入湖底，取名Millerton湖。 夏日的Millerton湖一派生机：冲浪游泳的，划船烧烤的，欢歌笑语，有声有色，上演着滚烫的夏天。

有的地方，让你一见如故，似曾相识；一别十年，回来依然草木亲切，就像回归故里。这里有冰天雪地的严冬，酷暑淋漓的盛夏；最高的雪山和最开阔的旷野，孤独的路通往天尽头，只有天边的晚霞在绽放。 这里是北美本土大陆最高点和最低点相遇的地方，终年不化的Sierra积雪依然在阳光下晶莹，亿万年风化的巨型滚石散落在辽阔的Owens Valley, 如大珠小珠落玉盘，与雪山遥相呼应，巨石以房子为基数，以指数递增，形态惊骇怪异，场景开阔震撼。看起来散乱无序，因为我们太渺小，呆得不够久。 站在谷中，风中有着特有的印第安人sage的味道，死亡谷深处的干冽气息混着Sierra山云端的积雪。原始的荒凉在蓝天白云下悠然古今，天地豁然开朗。地球上最古老的树依然高高屹立在万尺山巅，鸟瞰着下面的世界游走。这里是上帝的游乐场。

快乐可以来得很突然
昨晚天一擦黑，窗口刚有丝丝凉意，抬眼惊艳：月出东山，尽管草莓满月已过，但橙黄如明镜突然照进屋来，仿佛推窗入画，令人心旷神怡。 一早，太阳只露了个脸把我从床上叫醒，便躲进了云层，尽管没有太阳，但仍暑气闷热。毕竟是仲夏了。夏为大，天地间万物无限生长，生命力旺盛蓬勃，日长夜短，万物不忍浪费时间，多看一眼世界精彩。 起来后忽然听到院里唏倏的声响，以为松鼠又来偷桃吃：太明目张胆了，闹这么大动静，赶快跑出去：竟然是下雨了，硕大的雨点砸在屋顶，噼啪作响，顶着太阳。现在是旱季呀！哪有那么多规矩，精灵如雨，率性从容，得从容处且从容！ 美好如月随行，扶窗入框；快乐如雨飘洒，随风入夏。快乐可以来得很突然： 推窗清风入室；抬眼明月入画。

Perfect Moment
I saw these pretty leaves last week in my backyard, excited and can’t wait to see the whole tree turning red, what a perfect moment. This morning, those red leaves had fallen, though some other leaves are still turning red, which reminds me, the perfect moment is now… as perfect as it gets.

夏天的美好，落在红蜻蜓的翅膀上，山中无所不在的葱茏绿荫，傍晚不眠不休的田野虫唱。夏日星空下暑热渐消的大地上，恣意生长的崴蕤草木仍在向上生长，不分昼夜，生命的无限张力在天地间尽情释放，虫在唱歌，鸟在啁啾，人在倾听，今晚无人入睡，这里是热气腾腾的人间。
