
Adversity introduces a man to himself. Holidays in the hospital, is a good reset for the chaotic mind. When things boil down, the shimmer of lights shines through. Looking outside the window, holiday lights decorating buildings of different heights, looks like a toy snow globe down below. So close yet so far. It’s a different mentality being in the hospital during holidays. Hospitals have a different time zone, you slowdown, start to notice the corner of the world missed before.
Now we are discharged from the hospital, the world looks renewed and so refreshing. It’s not the world that changed, it’s me. I have a whole new world in front of me.
Every moment is an unrepeatable miracle; in that case, I had a miraculous Christmas!
