Summer Solstice

Today is Summer Solstice, the longest daylight of the year, just for that it’s worth a celebration: to celebrate our days on earth, to celebrate the longest companionship of the sun, and the beginning of summer. This is a beautiful season: a time suitable for daydreaming; disappearing in the deeply wooded mountains; to zoom in through the transparent wings of a dragonfly; to drift away in the rhythm of cicada by the lake; to tell stories by the bonfire under a starry night; to chase summer with a free mind and whole heart.

They say how you spend a day is how you spend a life. This day should be spent totally embracing the sun, stretching the sun to infinite and folding the shadow so tiny it fits under your feet.

When we can cast a shadow, we should stand like a sun dial, reaching out to the sun, casting our life fully on earth.
