Conversation with Your Body


After my morning yoga, I started to realize that yoga is the way to open a conversation with my body. From quieting my mind, cleansing my breathing, a channel has been opened up so I can hear what my body is trying to say, and by stretching, releasing, and strengthening, I can talk back to my body. No wonder I always feel so fulfilled and clear minded after each practice, so accomplished.

How could I ignore my body for so long? It has been trying to reach me for so many years. It’s like you suddenly found your lost loved one and reunited. What a joy!

Once the conversation started, it’s only natural when you talk back to your body by moving certain ways, that’s where improvisation kicks in, like a rebound. Your body teaches you how to deep relax, how to reset, how to stand up for a challenge, and how to sustain to maintain that balance. It’s always been there, just too much noise to notice. That moment to melt into that stillness, is powerful, and awakening.

Breathe with the spring, move with the awakening tree, down under is mother earth, above all is infinite love.
