Have you ever slipped out of time? The moment you are zoned out, forget about your trouble, your plan, yourself and whereabouts… just soak in for whatever you’re doing.
This morning, when I stepped out to the yard, the morning sun had just started to climb up on the neighbor’s tree. It’s a poplar tree, half of the tree turning into golden colors, hasn’t shed its leaves yet. In-between the morning sun and golden leaves, there’s a bird singing, maybe a warbler, he’s a little plumper, probably stuffed up for the winter. If I can take a video or picture with my naked eyes, that’s a perfect shot: like in those classic Russian oil paintings, the prime time of glorious fall colors, perfect lighting with the glow of soft morning sun, a happy bird chirping on the golden poplar tree, those golden leaves flipping on and off with the sun, like clapping hands. What a beautiful Fall morning! It’s just for a short moment but long enough to make my day and my mind. Maybe just because it’s short, it’s beautiful.
Like life, we never know what is next; this moment is all what life is about. Slip out of time for now, in-between this moment and next, lives infinite of life.
