On our hiking in the mountain, it’s a new trail, not sure where it will lead. Suddenly there’s green canopy, with sun trying to penetrate, sunlight is washing down the trail ahead, making it welcoming and inviting. The sound is also dramatic, the wind is blowing hard enough to shake and clap all the leaves on the tall trees overhead, but gentle enough to caress like a spring touch. Looking around, we are wrapped in green, different shades and layers of green, washed by the afternoon sun, backed by the clapping leaves, at that moment I feel it: how amazing nature is, how free the mountain breathes, how effortlessly ease resides, how lucky I’m right here in the middle of it all.
